Here is a compliation from the team of some of the Adventures we had on the first day:

• While doing demolition work in the bathroom, Jacqueline had hot water dumped on her head from a pipe burst
• We cleaned lots of unidentified dirty stuff
• We wore masks all day to not breath in the mold or other things..
• We accidently got locked out in the snow for a little while...on Spring Break!
• Ministered in a non-Christian place of worship
• Went for a run amidst New York City drivers
• Slept on a cot
• Were very productive on the worksite despite the lack of heat!
• Ate real New York pizza
• We got the attention of the community by wearing coveralls:)
• In just one day we saw so much fruit from our labor
• Gave above mentioned delicious pizza to a non-English speaking man
• Ate, slept and hung out in one room
• 1 minute showers
• Realized the Statue of Liberty is really tiny (from our view!)
• Hung out with the Rabbi
• Met with a guy named Dominic at the coffee shop and shared our faith
• Dressed in so many layers we looked like the Michelin tire man
